Tasting Notes

Colour

Sun-kissed golden amber with honeyed warmth and a bronze-tinted glow.

Nose

Bright lemon zest, sea spray and vanilla mingle with a deeper veil of dried fig, cocoa and sherry-soft spice. A maritime peat threads softly through both, whispering Islay smoke that lingers in the glass.

Palate

Two Bowmore expressions unfold on the palate: the 12-year opens with brisk peat, lemon zest, vanilla and sea-salt, edged by fresh oak; the 17-year deepens with dried fruit, cocoa and warm spice from sherry casks, all wrapped in a lingering coastal smoke. A harmonious balance of citrus brightness, sweetness and maritime ash.

Finish

Long, smoky finish with coastal salt and citrus zest; vanilla sweetness lingers as the peat softens into cocoa and a touch of oak. A refined Bowmore echo that stays with you.
