Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery mahogany highlights.
Nose
Peat smoke envelops bright orchard fruit and honeyed toffee, with a coastal brine and ash undertone. Sherry-cask influence threads through dried fig, cocoa, and soft leather, while vanilla and a whisper of orange zest lift the aroma into a refined, smoky elegance.
Palate
Peat smoke coats the palate with a disciplined sweetness of toffee and malt, balanced by dried fruit and sherry-washed grapes. Rich, velvety texture delivers cocoa, vanilla, and subtle spice, leading to a warm, lingering finish of charcoal and oak.
Finish
Long and warming, the peat smoke lingers with dried-fruit sweetness, carried by subtle sherry spice. Cocoa, leather and toasted oak fade slowly, leaving a lingering, smoky finish that invites another sip.
