Black Bottle Alchemy Series Batch #2 - Island Smoke Blended Scotch Whisky

Colour

Copper-gold with warm amber depths and a honeyed, sunlit glow.

Nose

Peat-smoked with a maritime glow, this nose carries sea salt and coastline brine. Spices surge—crisp chili and warm cardamom—alongside a sweet malt undertone. A whisper of seaweed deepens complexity, while subtle sherry-cask warmth lingers, creating a balanced, island-tinged bouquet that invites a voyage of discovery.

Palate

Silky and expansive on the palate, it unfurls peat-laden warmth with a maritime sweetness. Peat smoke mingles with spiced notes of chili and cardamom, while a whisper of seaweed salt adds depth. A rich malt backbone carries a suave, mouth-coating texture into a long, resinous finish that drifts from smoke to spice.

Finish

Long, maritime finish with saline seaweed and coastal smoke, mingling with a warming veil of chilli and cardamom. Peat sweetness lingers, softly evolving into a dry, smoky echo that stays like a tide’s memory.
