Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with coppery highlights and mahogany edges.
Nose
Fresh barley and orchard fruit rise from the glass, a delicate peat smoke curling through vanilla and honey. Zest of orange and crisp apple layer with dried fig and raisin from the sherry cask, while almond and a whisper of coastal air add a refined, lingering finish.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied on the palate, with a whisper of peat smoke that threads through rich sherry sweetness. Malt sweetness with honeyed orchard fruit, vanilla, and toasted almond give way to dried fruit, gentle spice, and a lingering, lightly smoky finish.
Finish
Long, warming finish with a gentle peat presence that lingers over sweet malt and sherry-cask depth. Dried fruit notes—dates and figs—rise, followed by cocoa, spice, and a subtle oak warmth, finishing with a faint coastal shimmer.
