Colour
Deep amber with coppery-bronze hues and a warm mahogany glow.
Nose
Rich, sun-dried fruit aromas—raisins and prunes—meet toasted nuts, cocoa powder and warm spice, all carried on a velvet, ex-Oloroso sherry sweetness.
Palate
Lush on the palate, a tapestry of dried fruit sweetness—raisins, fig, dates—woven with nutty depth from crushed almonds and hazelnuts. Cinnamon and clove spicing emerges, with cocoa powder lending a bitter-sweet edge. Rich yet balanced by the sherry cask, finishing velvety with a warm, lingering glow.
Finish
Long, sumptuous finish where sherry’s fruit and nutty sweetness persist, layered with cocoa powder and gentle spice. Dried-fruit echoes soften into a refined, savory nuttiness, leaving a warm, cocoa-dusted memory on the palate.
