Sherry-led aromas fill the glass: ripe dried figs, dates and raisins mingle with candied orange, toffee and vanilla. Toasted almond, cocoa and a kiss of spice—cinnamon and clove—drift over polished oak, delivering a warm, festive richness.

Palate

Silky, medium-bodied and sherried, this 8-year-old reveals raisin and fig with candied orange zest. Toasted almond, dark chocolate and subtle spice mingle with velvety oak, delivering a warm, lingering finish.

Finish

Velvet and lingering, the finish unfolds with raisin and fig carried by bittersweet sherry. Spiced warmth of cinnamon and nutmeg lingers over mellow oak, revealing cocoa and orange zest before fading to a long, refined finale.

Bell’s traces its roots to Arthur Bell, a Perth wine and spirits merchant who began vatting malt whiskies together in 1851 to create a more consistent blended Scotch. The “Extra Special” trademark was registered in 1895 and later appeared with the Bell’s name in 1904, becoming the basis of the long-running Bell’s blend. Blair Athol, founded in 1798, became closely tied to the brand after Arthur Bell & Sons acquired the distillery in 1933.
