Nose
Opulent sherry-driven bouquet with dried figs, raisins, and apricots layered over toffee and burnt sugar. Cocoa dust and almond paste mingle with orange zest and gentle spice, all wrapped in warm oak. A luxurious, inviting nose that speaks of 12 years of maturation.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this opens with rich sherry-coated fruit: raisin, fig and cherry, folded into cocoa, almonds and warming spice. The 47.9% ABV adds quiet heat and a creamy mouthfeel, leaving a velvety coating and a long finish of orange zest, dark chocolate, and oak.
Finish
Long, warming finish with sherry-driven sweetness that lingers over dried fig, raisin and orange zest, merging into vanilla and toasted oak. Spices—cinnamon and clove—linger, while cocoa and almond hover in the background, leaving a polished, dusky fade that invites another sip.
