Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-bronze highlights and a tawny mahogany core.
Nose
Delicate yet surprising, the nose opens with honeyed citrus, orchard fruit and vanilla, lifted by a whisper of malt. Dried fig and almond mingle with polished oak, a hint of sherry sweetness, and a soft kiss of spice. Complex and elegant, it balances Lowland lightness with age-old depth, inviting careful, lingering inhalations.
Palate
Silky and refined, the palate opens with bright citrus and vanilla, then grows into sherry-kissed depth of dried fig, raisin and almond, supported by subtle cocoa and spice. A delicate triple-distilled lightness lingers through a long, polished oak finish.
Finish
An exceptionally long, elegant finish that lingers with refined sherry warmth. Dried fig and cocoa unfold into bright orange zest, a touch of toffee, and gentle spice—cinnamon and clove—dusting the palate. The Lowland lightness threads through, leaving a silky, mineral-inflected fade that hangs in the air with quiet oak and lasting warmth.
