One of the best-known Dutch producers is Zuidam Distillers, maker of Millstone Whisky, which has helped build the Netherlands’ reputation for high-quality whisky. Other producers, including Frysk Hynder, have also contributed to the category, with Dutch whiskies often showing notes of malt, spice, fruit, vanilla and oak depending on the grain and cask type used.
