Wolfcraig Second Edition Blended Scotch Whisky 14 Year Old
In stock
The signature crafting method for each of the releases in the Triple Sherry Cask Finish Series is consistent, but the balance of the Amontillado, Pedro Ximénez and Muscatel cask influence is varied between editions. That means this second edition embodies a unique ratio of sherry casks, distinct from the first.
Wolfcraig Master Blender, Richard Paterson OBE, travelled to Jerez de la Frontera and meticulously selected sherry casks that had sherry soaking in them for 15 long years, for this majestic series.
Richard and Ian decided on component whiskies from distilleries that they have worked with in the past to maintain that personal connection to the spirit. Wolfcraig blends also possess a uniquely high malt to grain ratio adding depth and complexity.
To bring this whisky to the pinnacle of perfection, Richard and Ian matured their blend for a further 3 years in the distinct sherry types, each making their own inimitable contribution.
The Wolfcraig 14 epitomises the true craftsmanship of Master Blending from two of the industry’s greats.
