Nose

Sun-warmed peat and sea spray rise from the glass, mingling iodine, ash, and a sherry-tinged sweetness. Dried orange peel, dark fruit, and a hint of treacle swirl through, while peppery spice and vanilla trace a lingering, resinous finish.

Palate

Explosive peat and maritime smoke coat the palate, threaded with rich sherry fruit, fig and dark chocolate. Dried fruit, spice and a hint of orange zest mingle with sea salt and pepper. Full-bodied and warming at 59.2% ABV, finishing long with resinous peat, ash, and oak.

Finish

Long, smoky finish with maritime warmth, where peat and ash fade into rich sherried sweetness. Notes of dark chocolate, dried fig and orange zest mingle with spice, then a salted-oak glow lingers, keeping the memory of Islay in a refined, lingering fade.
