The classic Irish Blended whiskey, Tullamore D.E.W. The early floral yet biscuit flavour reflects the grain whiskey, while the soft spicy notes can be attributed to the pot still whiskey in the blend. The citrus flavour is complemented by the malt. Finally notice the nutty or even marzipan note combined with distinctive vanilla in the finish – imparted by the sherry and bourbon casks used in maturation.

Tullamore D.E.W. takes its name from the town of Tullamore in County Offaly and from the initials of Daniel E. Williams, the distillery worker who rose from stable boy to distillery manager and later owner. The original Tullamore distillery was established in 1829, and Williams became the key figure behind the name that still appears on the label today.
