The result of collaboration between Gelston’s owner, Johnny Neill and Sam Neill (Actor, Writer, Producer) , who is based in New Zealand. It sees the cousins bringing together the two sides of the family, whilst also merging the brilliant flavours and aromas of the two hemispheres.

The Whiskey has been triple distilled and matured for 19 months in ex-bourbon casks, before spending a further 21 months maturing in Sam’s French oak casks, which had previously held his prestigious Central Otago Pinot Noir.

Samuel Gelston’s is a historic Irish whiskey brand founded in Belfast in 1830 by Samuel Gelston, a successful wine and whiskey merchant. After Gelston’s death in 1869, the business was bought by Harry J. Neill, who expanded the company’s reach in Ireland and overseas. Five generations later, the brand remains connected to the Neill family through Johnny Neill, who revived Samuel Gelston’s for a modern audience.
