Matured for a minimum of 6 years in flame charred, first fill, ex-bourbon casks from Kentucky in the U.S.A. before being finished for a further 6 months in vintage Burgundy French red wine casks.

These Pinot Noir red wine casks come from the Côte d’Or vineyards near Dijon, France.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Warm vanilla and toasted oak lead, punctuated by caramel sweetness and a bourbon-backed depth. Finishing in Pinot Noir Burgundy casks brings red-fruit perfume—ripe cherry, raspberry and a touch of plum—woven with wine-spice. A delicate floral lift, hints of cocoa and a whisper of smoke finish the nose with refined allure.
