The French Collection exhibits the unique influence imparted by different types of French Wine & Spirits casks in an exceptional showcase. These whiskies, distilled in 2008, were laid down in traditional Scotch Whisky oak casks prior to being moved into Monbazillac, Sauternes, Rivesaltes and Cognac casks for its final maturation, resulting in a magnificent collection.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Warm amber-gold with honeyed radiance and coppery glints, a sunlit, glassy glow that hints at rich, barrel-aged depth.
Nose
Delicate, honeyed nose of apricot and baked peach, lifted by vanilla, almond and a touch of toffee. Botrytis-driven sweetness from the Sauternes/Monbazillac casks mingles with dried fig and raisin, while Cognac oak adds subtle spice and elegance—an softly perfumed, luxuriously creamy aroma.
Palate
Silky and balanced on the palate, revealing honeyed apricot and ripe pear with creamy vanilla and almond. Subtle spice wafts over gentle oak, enriched by the French cask finishes—Monbazillac, Sauternes, Rivesaltes and Cognac—ending in a refined, lingering sweetness of toffee, citrus zest and warm velvet.
Finish
An elegant, dessert-wine finish lingers long on the palate: warm cognac and caramelized sugar entwine with apricot and Sauternes-tinged honey, leaving a silky, almond-dust trail with subtle oak spice.
