Tomatin Connoisseurs Choice Single Malt Scotch Whisky 17 Year Old · 1997 Vintage
Out of stock
A Gordon & MacPhail bottling of Tomatin single malt, distilled back in 1997 and bottled in 2014 as part of the Connoisseurs Choice range. You don't see many indie bottlings of Tomatin's whisky, so this is a rather rare occurrence now. Fruity, citrusy and quite sweet.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with sunlit honey tones and a subtle copper glow.
Nose
A bright orchard-fruit bouquet—ripe apple, pear and apricot—lifts with citrus zest and honeyed sweetness. Subtle vanilla notes and a whisper of oak add warmth and depth, giving the aroma an elegant, inviting sweetness.
Palate
Bright and buoyant on the palate, juicy citrus and ripe orchard fruits rise, carried by a touch of sherried sweetness. Honeyed vanilla, toffee and almond mingle with soft oak and gentle spice, yielding a creamy, smooth mouthfeel. The finish is long, with zesty citrus, warm sweetness and a hint of caramel lingering.
Finish
Long, fruit-forward finish with bright citrus and a honeyed sweetness. The sherry influence leaves soft dried-fruit notes and subtle spice, while vanilla and polished oak linger, settling into a warm, enduring finale.
