Tasting Notes
Colour
Amber-gold with sunlit honey hues and a warm, burnished copper glow.
Nose
Sun-warmed vanilla and caramel rise from the glass, mingling with creamy oak. Bourbon-hogshead influence delivers coconut, toffee and a subtle, buttery sweetness, while orchard fruits—green apple and pear—linger with a hint of citrus zest. A delicate spice—white pepper, ginger—keeps the aroma bright, yet refined. Honeyed tones weave through the finish, leaving an elegant, oak-driven perfume of a well-matured Highland single malt.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied palate with rich vanilla, creamy toffee and a caramel sweetness from the bourbon cask. Ripe orchard fruit—pear and apricot—unfolds alongside light citrus zest and a kiss of spice. Luxurious yet balanced, the high proof glides across the tongue, delivering a long, honeyed finish with subtle oak warmth.
Finish
Silky, honeyed warmth lingers; vanilla and caramel from the bourbon cask mingle with citrus and orchard fruit. A gentle spice builds as toasted almond and oak fade into a long, creamy finish that invites another sip.
