The first-ever whiskey to be released by Irish distillery Drumshanbo!
It's made with a combination of malted and un-malted Irish barley, as well as Barra oats, creating a creamy, spicy character. Matured in a combination of oloroso sherry and ex-bourbon casks, this limited expression contains whiskey from the first ever cask distilled at the Shed Distillery in Leitrim on 21st December 2014 and has aromas of dried fruit, sweet vanilla and peppery spice, while the palate offers notes of ripe figs, pot spice, dried fruits. oloroso sherry, oak and black pepper that lasts and lingers on the smooth finish.

Colour
Deep amber with a warm copper-gold glow and subtle mahogany edges.
Nose
Aromas of dried fruits, sweet vanilla and peppery spice mingle with a creamy maltiness, while soft oak from oloroso sherry and ex-bourbon casks lends sherry-tinged depth.
Palate
Creamy, spicy on the palate with ripe figs and dried fruits, lifted by pot spice and a kiss of oak. Oloroso sherry cask influence brings depth, while black pepper provides a measured bite that lingers into a long, smooth finish.
Finish
A long, refined finish of dark oak and oloroso sherry, with black pepper and dried fruit lingering. Notes of ripe fig and vanilla linger softly, carried by a creamy spice that softens into a warm, persistent glow on the palate.
