Part of the new Macallan range launched in 2018, the Triple Cask range takes the place of Fine Oak in the Macallan stable.
This expression is made exclusively with whisky aged for at least 15 years in a combination of European sherry seasoned casks, American sherry seasoned casks and American ex-bourbon casks.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich, deep amber with coppery highlights and a warm mahogany glow.
Nose
Exuberant and refined, the nose blends bright orange zest with dried fig and almond, sweeter vanilla and toffee. Sherry influence threads through dark fruit and cocoa, while toasted oak and a gentle spice (cinnamon, clove) lend depth and warming elegance.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied palate of rich toffee and vanilla, layered with dried orange peel, fig and raisin, and a kiss of creamy chocolate. Sherry sweetness from European and American casks mingles with spice: cinnamon, nutmeg, and a touch of ginger over toasted oak, delivering a warm, lingering finish.
Finish
Long and refined, with sherry-soft sweetness and vanilla carried by toasted oak. Orange peel, dried fruit and spice unfold, then linger into cocoa and subtle almond, leaving a warm, elegant footprint.
