Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with a coppery glow and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Opulent sherry-driven nose unfolds with dark fruits—prune, fig, and raisin—intertwined with candied orange, vanilla, and almond. Cocoa, leather, and toasted oak rise alongside spice and espresso notes. The elevated ABV lends a bright edge, sharpening the perfume into a dense, velvety sweetness that promises a long, luxurious finish.
Palate
Opulent and velvety, this sherry-cask Macallan coats the palate with rich dried fruit—raisins, fig, orange zest—layered with toffee, dark chocolate and a kiss of espresso. Spices rise as cinnamon and nutmeg mingle with polished oak, while silky tannins carry a long, warming finish.
Finish
An enduring, velvety finish of dried fig and orange peel, crowned by cocoa and cinnamon, fading slowly with toasted oak and a whisper of leather, rich, refined and unmistakably sherried.
