Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich deep mahogany amber with coppery edges and a warm, burnished gold core.
Nose
Opulent, immediately aromatic with dark dried fruits: raisins, fig, and plum, woven with orange zest and caramel. Spiced with cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg, it carries almond and cacao notes, hints of leather and tobacco, all wrapped in polished oak. The high-strength Sherry influence lends a warm, winey backbone that promises depth and elegance.
Palate
Opulent and velvety on the palate, this whisky delivers plush sherry sweetness with dark fruit and citrus zest. Raisin, fig and orange peel mingle with toasted almond and cocoa, framed by warming cinnamon and clove. Rich oak cushions a crisp, lifting alcohol, yielding a full-bodied, luxurious mouthfeel and a lingering finish of spice, cocoa and a refined resinous sweetness.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with velvety sherry sweetness that lingers around dried fruit—raisin and fig—with orange zest. Spices unfold softly—cinnamon, clove—over rich oak and dark chocolate, slowly fading to a warm, cognac-like glow that endures.
