Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep mahogany amber with burnished copper tones and a ruby-glow, reminiscent of aged sherry cask richness.
Nose
Rich sherry envelops the glass, with dried figs and raisins, orange peel and toffee, braided with vanilla and baking spice. Deep mahogany oak carries cocoa, leather and a whisper of cinnamon. Rustic elegance, Christmas cake sweetness, and an old-library depth that speaks of decades of maturation.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied and richly sherried on the palate, opening with fig and raisin sweetness and orange zest, wrapped in dark chocolate and toffee. Warm spice—cinnamon and clove—merges with velvety oak, delivering a long, nutty finish.
Finish
Long and velvet, the sherry influence lingers with raisin, fig and orange zest, layered over cocoa and gentle spice. Refined oak threads through to a warm, tobacco-tinted finale.
