The fourth and penultimate bottling of “The Revival” series, a limited edition commemorative Single Malt.
Recently awarded Irish Whiskey of the Year at the 2017 Irish Whiskey Awards, The Revival Volume IV is a unique addition to The Revival Commemorative Series, a series crafted to celebrate the opening of the Teeling Whiskey Distillery and with that the revival of the tradition of distilling in Dublin.
The fourth bottling of this series consists of 15-Year-Old Single Malt that was aged initially in ex-Bourbon barrels before being finished for over 12 months in unique Muscat Port barrels that impart very distinct hints of citrus, rose petal and ripe peach.
Limited to just 10,000 bottles, the resulting Single Malt is then bottled at 46% with no chill filtration, a signature of all Teeling Whiskeys.
An almost aperitif style Irish single malt, summery and fresh and dangerously easy drinking.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Sunlit golden amber with a warm, inviting glow and a subtle coppery sheen.
Nose
A trio of orchard fruits (peach, nectarine and apricot) fresh cereal and barley fields, biscuits fresh from the oven, a dusting of soft baking spices, vanilla, mocha and biscotti, waffle batter, apricot glaze and runny honey.
Palate
Very grapey to begin, with the ripe orchard fruits from the nose unfolding across a juicy frame. Drier vanillin wood and milky char-latte notes creep in, joined by biscuits, ginger fudge, nougat and sugared almonds, giving a warmly layered palate.
Finish
A delicate, orchard-fruited finish lingers with apricot glaze and waxy quince jelly, opening to almond croissants, mixed-peel panettone, and airy meringue, finished with a gentle kiss of vanilla cream.
