Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark amber with mahogany depth and a coppery glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry-driven bouquet: dried fig, raisin and orange zest rise over dark chocolate, toffee and vanilla. Nutty almond and toasted oak mingle with spice, while subtle leather and tobacco deepen the aroma, finishing with warm, liqueur-like sweetness and aged Speyside elegance.
Palate
Silky and substantial on the palate, caressing with a polished, velvety texture. Rich sherried warmth carries dried fig, raisin and date, folded into dark chocolate and toffee. Cinnamon, nutmeg and clove spice mingle with almonds and a whisper of orange zest, all balanced by oak-derived vanilla and a lingering, refined finish.
Finish
Long, sherried and luxurious, the finish unfolds slowly with dark fruit, cocoa, and toffee. Raisin and fig sweetness lingers, brightened by citrus zest and a hint of oak spice, finishing with a warm, tobacco-tinged fade that endures gracefully.
