Sheep Dip is a small batch, handcrafted, premium blended malt Scotch whisky. It marries together single malt whiskies from around Scotland in an enigmatically refined blend that packs plenty of punch.
Inspired by a long history of entrepreneurial Scottish farmers taking distillation into their own hands, this rich and fruity blended malt whisky pays homage to an era where these illicit spirits traded hands across Scotland, via farmers merchants from the Islands to Speyside. Where quality and community came before the excise man, and where a barrel of “Sheep Dip” held liquid-gold for those select few who knew where to look.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a sunlit golden glow.
Nose
Rich, fruity and inviting—a tapestry of orchard fruit and citrus, bathed in a soft sherry glow. Dried fig and raisin mingle with caramel, almond and a touch of oak, while gentle spice shades the bouquet. A refined, artisanal aroma that hints at its small-batch heritage and the marriage of malt whiskies from across Scotland.
Palate
On the palate, Sheep Dip pours with rich, fruity depth and malt-driven poise. Ripe apples and pears intertwine with dark plum, raisin and fig from sherry echoes, while silky caramel and toffee sweetness glides over toasted almond and a cocoa kiss. Subtle spice and gentle oak lend structure, finishing warm, refined, and lingering with a touch of coastal brightness.
Finish
Long, refined finish that coats the tongue with succulent orchard fruits and toasted oak, then slowly releases a warm undercurrent of spice. A sherry-soft sweetness lingers, mingling with dried fruit and subtle nuttiness for a persistent, elegant finale.
