Beautiful, fresh, clean and inviting first impression on the nose with lovely floral, vanilla and peach notes. It has a bit of citrus and even lemongrass and some hay emerges later.
It is unique but still reminiscent of some of the greatest Scotch Malts of the lighter, clean and elegant style. There's a touch of fresh grain and maltiness but the ageing worked beautifully.
The sweetness and zestines balance each other nicely on the palate and the touch of fresh roasted malt and coffee note makes it more complex. White peach and pear zestiness carries a nice and refreshing finish. At 46% it is perfectly expressive and it stays crisp and refreshing throughout.
It is great neat without water but water elevates it and makes it even more refreshing but broader.
