Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark copper-amber with mahogany undertones and a warm honey-gold glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry aroma with dark fruit at its core: raisin, fig and plum, lifted by orange zest and a hint of cherry. Rich toffee and caramel weave through toasted oak, while clove and nutmeg mingle with vanilla. Subtle cocoa, almond and a whisper of leather deepen the bouquet, finishing in a polished, aromatic maltiness that speaks of age and refinement.
Palate
Full-bodied and velvety, the palate unfolds with sherry-soaked fruit—prune, fig, and raisin—alongside dark chocolate, toasted almond, and a whisper of espresso. Spices bloom—clove, cinnamon, nutmeg—under a warm oak backbone. The high ABV lends a gentle blaze, carrying into a long, refined finish of dried fruit, cacao, and resinous wood.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish infused with sherry sweetness, layered with dark plum and raisin, cocoa and toasted oak, ending with a gentle kiss of spice that lingers warm and velvety.
