Distillery Bottling

Proper Twelve is a blend of the finest golden grain and single malt. Triple-distilled and aged for a minimum of four years in charred ex-bourbon barrels. It is complex and sophisticated yet smooth and approachable with hints of vanilla, honey and toasted wood.

Recommended serve neat or over ice, or mixed with long drinks or Cola. Makes the perfect gift.

Colour

Bright golden-amber with warm honey-gold and coppery highlights.

Nose

Aromas of vanilla and honey entwine with toasted wood, lightly lifted by orchard fruit for a warm, inviting bouquet.

Palate

Orchard fruit and honey arrive first, bright and inviting, with a kick of white pepper for gentle heat. The palate remains smooth and slightly fruity, unfolding into warm spice, finishing with drying oak and a caramel drizzle.

Finish

Drying oak heat lingers, with a drizzle of caramel that coats the palate, leaving a warm, subtly sweet finish.
