Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich golden amber with honeyed warmth and a subtle coppery glow.
Nose
Opulent and warm, the aroma opens with honeyed orchard fruit—apple and pear—threaded with citrus zest. Vanilla caramel, toasted oak, and a bead of floral-spice mingle with creamy pot-still warmth, while faint dried-fruit notes and nutty barley lend old-world elegance.
Palate
Silky and honeyed on the palate, with orchard fruit and orange zest folded into creamy pot-still spice. Caramel, vanilla and nutty oak lend depth, while a waxy edge carries a long, warming finish of citrus, spice and a whisper of cocoa.
Finish
An exceptionally long, velvety finish of warm honey, vanilla and toasted oak. Subtle orchard fruit and citrus linger, woven with gentle spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—ending in caramel, a trace of leather, and a faint, refined smoke that slowly dissipates.
