About Powers
Powers is one of Ireland’s historic whiskey names, with roots dating back to John Power’s Dublin distillery in 1791. Long associated with full-flavoured Irish whiskey, Powers built its reputation on a robust pot still style and the famous John’s Lane distillery, before production later moved to Midleton Distillery in County Cork.
The range includes Powers Gold Label, Three Swallow and John’s Lane, covering classic blended Irish whiskey and richer single pot still expressions. Three Swallow is made from malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills, giving a characterful style with spice, orchard fruit, vanilla, oak and cereal sweetness. Bold, traditional and distinctly Irish, Powers remains a strong choice for drinkers looking for classic Irish whiskey with depth and heritage.
