Tasting Notes
Colour
Sunlit gold with a warm honey glow and a subtle coppery sheen.
Nose
An autumnal day in a glass: dried leaves and orchard fruits mingle with wisps of wood smoke, softly shadowed by creamy notes and toasted bread.
Palate
Sweet peat wraps around a soft vanilla cream and sugared pancake core, with a hint of burnt edges adding smoky depth. Baking apples meet malt on the palate, while peppery spice and clove lift the midsection, finishing warm and lingering in a mellow malt sweetness.
Finish
A warming drift of soft peat lingers on the tongue, finished with a gentle barley sweetness that caresses the palate.
