Penderyn NINE is a limited-edition Welsh single malt created in honour of football legend Ian Rush and the number that became synonymous with his remarkable career. Wearing the number 9, Rush became Liverpool’s all-time record goal scorer and, for more than two decades, Wales’ record international goal scorer. This release brings together two Welsh names united by a shared focus on precision, consistency and performance.
Aged for nine years, NINE has been fully matured in a Tawny Port cask, adding layers of rich fruit and sweetness to Penderyn’s distinctive character. Bottled at 43% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and presented with no added colouring.
