Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep ruby red with luminous garnet and ruby-purple glints, a rich, jewel-like hue hinting at port influence.
Nose
Red berries - raspberry and strawberries with cream, dried fruits and a flash of popcorn.
Palate
Bold and creamy, the palate opens with toasted almond and vanilla pods, then bright cranberry, orange peel and peach unfold. Juicy cherries in dark chocolate and plum jam thread through, supported by a cask-strength warmth that lingers with spice and depth.
Finish
Juicy oak lingers, unfolding a subtle peppercorn spice that warms the palate and leaves a refined, lingering finish.
