A ferociously full bodied Single Malt Whisky, packed with a big bite of untamed peatiness.
Aromas of damp smoke, peat, TCP, seaweed then morphing into sweet syrupy burnt sugar notes from the Sherry cask. Familiar flavours of peppery peat smoke, damp burnt bracken and the salty notes of seaweed. But Peat's Beast Sherry gives you more. There are subtle sweet notes of dates and figs with the sweet hues of Spanish Sherry; an absolute juxtaposition between dry peat smoke and rum and raisin ice cream, a quite sublime dram. On the palate a real peat bite but wrapped in a gorgeous warm coat of dates, figs, hints of clove and vanilla. The peat fire stays at the back of the throat but there are strong notes of chocolate, sweet rum and raisin ice cream, burnt caramel. Incredibly long finish.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with mahogany depth and ruby highlights, a rich sherry-dark hue evoking burnt caramel, dates and figs.
Nose
Damp smoke and peat rise with TCP and seaweed, shifting to sweet, syrupy burnt-sugar notes from the Sherry cask. Peppery peat and damp bracken mingle with saline seaweed, while subtle hints of dates and figs and the warm sweetness of Spanish Sherry emerge—a refined contrast of dry peat and luscious depth.
Palate
On the palate, a bold peat bite is wrapped in a warm cloak of dates and figs, with hints of clove and vanilla. Chocolate and burnt caramel emerge with sweet rum and raisin ice cream, while sherry notes linger. A salty, bracken-kissed finish carries peppery smoke to the back of the throat.
Finish
An incredibly long finish, peat smoke persisting as sweet sherry notes expand. Dark chocolate, burnt caramel and hints of rum-and-raisin ice cream mingle with dates and figs, trailing vanilla and spice as the warmth slowly fades.
