This unique Rye Whiskey follows the distillery's 4 + 3 principle of maturation. The first four years the spirit matures to develop the soft and fruity taste synonymous with rye, all in specially selected oak casks. The distiller then only selects the ver best batches to mature for an additional three years to develop its unique complexity.
After seven years, the exceptional Old Hunter´s Selection Rye Whiskey is created. Aromas of freshly cut rye ears are dominant on the nose, yet the palate is exceptionally delicate with the flavour of vanilla. The finish is sweet with the return of the rye.

Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm, honeyed glow, a glossy, sun-kissed hue.
Nose
Dominant aromas of freshly cut rye ears fill the nose—crisp, grain-forward and lively, with a bright rye-grain character.

Silky and delicate on the palate, vanilla sweetness leads with quiet rye spice and a whisper of oak. A refined, lingering rye note completes an attractively soft, elegant profile.
Finish
Sweet, lingering finish with the rye returning, carried by gentle vanilla and fruity undertones, leaving a refined, warm impression.
