Colour
Rich amber-gold with a warm honey glow and a subtle coppery edge.
Nose
Opulent, waxy and inviting, this Mortlach carries a sherry-kissed nose of dark plum, fig and cherry, with orange zest and toffee. Spices, toasted almonds and cocoa mingle with a touch of oak, hinting at the rich, savory heart beneath a luxurious, velvety sheen.
Palate
Silky and richly textured, the palate opens with dark fruit and figgy sweetness, drenched in sherry warmth. Plum, toffee and cocoa fuse with nutmeg and a whisper of leather, all wrapped in velvety malt. A balanced, lingering finish of molasses and oak.
Finish
Silky, sherried finish lingers with dark fig and plum, wrapped in cocoa and walnut spice; oak drives a warm, lingering sweetness that fades to a refined, nutty afterglow.
