A single cask Miltonduff from Chapter 7's Monologue series. Miltonduff is somewhat of an unknown distillery, mostly used for some of the big blended whiskies, including Ballantine's and Chivas Regal. As a single malt it is light, crisp, floral and approachable. It is often bottled young, so this 21 year old version shows more weight, complexity, and depth of flavour than most that we have encountered.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with coppery undertones and a hint of mahogany.
Nose
A bright bouquet of green apples leads, touched by vanilla and warm sawdust. Cinnamon spice dances with orange notes, lending orchard freshness and a hint of sunshine.
Palate
Orange peel and lemon meringue illuminate the palate, anchored by Jaffa cake richness and a whisper of lavender sweets. Medium-full and elegantly balanced, it carries vanilla and gentle spice, finishing with a fresh citrus lift and a lingering, refined sweetness.
Finish
Fresh with oranges, the finish lingers with roasted peanuts and roasted malt, delivering a warm, nutty echo that softly fades.
