An amazing recreation of the whisky that accompanied arctic explorer Ernest Shackleton and his crew on their unsuccessful expedition to reach the South Pole in 1907. This special bottling is presented in a replica bottle with a large wooden storage trunk.

Made up of Single malts from the Highland, Speyside and Island regions of Scotland and includes some old Glen Mhor (now a closed distillery) from a 1983 distillation.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold shimmer and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Lime juice and fresh pineapple lead the aroma, bright and tropical, backed by freshly baked bread and apple strudel. Nutmeg and clove mingle with salted vanilla, buttery cake mix, candy floss, and a kiss of ginger, weaving a warm, bakery-spiced impression with a touch of sweetness.
Palate
Baked bread and pastry carry the palate, with sooty lime and pineapple at the fore, followed by aromatic spice, lemon sorbet, almond and toasted vanillin oak.
Finish
Herbal lime cordial, subtle smoke, salted vanilla, almond milk, baked biscuits with aromatic spices, ginger and a dusting of white pepper on ripe melon.
