A replacement for the 16 Year Old, this version is a triple cask matured single malt (matured in hogsheads, Oloroso sherry casks and ex-bourbon barrels). Long, sweet and smooth, this expression is inspired by the legend that Longmorn was every distiller’s favourite dram apart from their own.
(Long-MORN) Longmorn is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distillery near Elgin in Moray, founded by John Duff in 1894. Duff had already been involved in Glenlossie and later built Benriach beside Longmorn, placing the distillery within one of Speyside’s most important whisky-making areas.
