Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, honeyed amber with coppery glints and a whisper of mahogany. The colour glows like autumn sunset in a glass, rich, stately and inviting slow, contemplative swirls.
Nose
From the glass, a rich sherried bouquet blooms: dark prunes and raisins rise with toffee and fig, tempered by polished oak and a drizzle of honey. Nutty almond and hazelnut shadows meet whispering orange zest, cinnamon and clove, while a velvet undercurrent of chocolate and coffee completes the profile.
Palate
Silky and richly textured, the palate unfurls with dried fig, raisin and orange zest, swathed in sherried sweetness. Layered fruitcake, toffee and espresso mingle with dark chocolate, toasted almond and a whisper of spice. Elegant oak lends structure, while a warm, lingering finish folds cinnamon, clove and gentle leather into velvet-length nuance.
Finish
Velvety, long finish with luxurious sherry sweetness; dried fig, raisin and dark chocolate mingle with oak and spice, leaving a warm, nutty cacao echo that lingers softly on the tongue.
