The return of another of Gordon and Macphail's stalwarts, Longmorn Speyside Single Malt. Now bottled as a 14 year old, this is matured in a combination of first fill Sherry hogsheads and refill bourbon barrels and bottled at 43% ABV.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden-amber with coppery highlights and a hint of mahogany.
Nose
Fragrant aniseed mingles with light fruit cake, as sherry shadows drift in with sticky orange marmalade. Dried fruit notes deepen with time, while almond marzipan threads through cinnamon and nutmeg, lending a warm, inviting spice.
Palate
Peppery yet sweet; dashes of warming white pepper develop into plump raisins highlighted by toasted almond, espresso coffee, and twists of orange peel.
Finish
Medium-bodied with a gently drying finish, it opens to warming spices that linger as nutty undertones weave through the final notes, leaving a refined, enduring echo.
