Colour

Nose

Opulent, sherry-kissed nose with dark fruit notes of raisins, dried figs, prunes and cherry. Rich cocoa, toffee and almond sweetness weave through orange zest and dates, while cinnamon and nutmeg spice rise over warm oak and a hint of leather. At cask strength, the aroma is vibrant, focused and inviting, promising a rich, fruit-forward palate.

Palate

Full, velvety and oily on the palate, with dark sherry fruit—prune, raisin, fig—melding into cocoa and espresso. Spices rise: cinnamon, clove, white pepper, with almond and leather notes. Oak tannins frame the finish, which is long, warm, and peppery at 60.5% ABV.

Finish

Long, warming finish with cocoa-dusted malt, peppery spice and subtle oak, followed by dried fruit and vanilla notes that slowly fade into a refined, persistent warmth.
