Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich golden amber with coppery edges and a warm, honeyed depth.
Nose
Ripe orchard fruits—apple, pear and apricot—rise with a Cognac-cask lift, hints of grape and a touch of dried fruit. Gentle spice (cinnamon, ginger) and vanilla-malt mingle with floral notes and refined oak, delivering a wine-laced, elegant Speyside aroma.
Palate
Rich fruit takes the lead on the palate—ripe orchard and dried fruits harmonizing with Cognac-cask maturity, gifting apricot, raisin and a subtle wine-led sweetness. Gentle spice—cinnamon, ginger—emerges alongside Linkwood’s floral, malt-driven core. At 56.5% ABV the texture is full and poised, finishing long with fruit, spice and a refined oak kiss.
Finish
Long and refined, the Cognac cask finish coats the palate with ripe fruit and gentle spice, weaving a subtle wine-led depth into Linkwood’s elegant, floral malt. A warm, lingering fade that embodies restraint and luxury.
