A fabulous 9 Year Old Linkwood, part of the Alistair Walker Whisky Company's Infrequent Flyers range. One of the standout bottlings of this batch. Matured in a rejuvenated Hogshead, this is incredibly complex and flavoursome for a whisky of this age. Bottled at a healthy cask strength also, this is superb value malt!

Natural colour, a rich golden amber with warm honey hues and a sunlit caramel glow.
Nose
A luxurious bouquet of almondy marzipan and sun-dried raisins unfurls into Christmas cake and fruit dumplings, a sweet, festive perfume that promises indulgent, dessert-like richness.
Palate
Seriously intense and rich on the palate, this is a decadent dessert of Black Forest gateau, sherry trifle, caramelised Muscovado sugars and treacle toffee. Full-bodied, luxurious sweetness lingers with velvety warmth.
Finish
Rich, viscous, un-ending.
