Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich golden amber with copper-bronze highlights.
Nose
Peat smoke and coastal brine lead the nose, with iodine and mineral seaside air. Beneath, vanilla and honeyed oak mingle with lemon zest and green apple, a bright orchard-fruit sweetness threaded through smoky barley. A faint ash and resinous undertone hints at a maritime fireside finish.
Palate
On the palate, maritime peat floods the malt with coastal warmth. Salted caramel and dried fruit mingle with orange zest, vanilla, and gentle spice, while a briny iodine thread wanders through the smoke. The peat lingers, evolving into a mineral, warming finish that is long, refined, and savoury.
Finish
Long, maritime finish with penetrating peat and sea-salt breeze. Smoke lingers like charred driftwood, weaving iodine and ash into a core of toffee, dried fruit and vanilla. The warmth tapers to a refined, spicy echo that lingers softly on the palate.
