Kininvie is a secret mini-distillery located at the back of Balvenie and has previously only produced a few limited edition bottlings under the Hazelwood brand. This Taiwan only exclusive is the first ever bottling under the Kininvie brand and was distilled in the year the distillery first started production in 1990.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a warm golden-copper gleam and a mahogany-tinged rim.
Nose
Opulent sherry-driven nose, with dried figs, cherries and plums layered over burnt sugar and toffee. Zesty orange peel and warmed spices drift through toasted almond, cocoa and vanilla, while polished oak, leather and a faint mineral lift keep it refined and inviting.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, the palate carries rich sherry-softened fruit—fig, raisin and orange peel—softly layered with toffee, cocoa and vanilla. Spices of cinnamon and clove weave through polished oak, with a delicate nuttiness emerging. The 42.6% presence provides gentle warmth, guiding a long, refined finish.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with rich sherry sweetness and toasted oak. Dried fig and raisin unfold into dark chocolate, a hint of orange zest, and warm spice, slowly fading to a velvety, refined finale.
