This is a limited edition release from the Kilbeggan Distillery who can boast they are the oldest operating whisky distillery in the world.
The Kilbeggan 21 Year Old is a blend of grain and malt whiskeys drawn from some of the oldest stocks at the distillery. The components have been matured in a combination of casks including ex-Bourbon, Port, Sherry and Madeira.
A juicy and aromatic fruited mellow Irish whiskey that is like Tullamore Dew meets Redbreast and sharing some of the best elements of both in one very easy drinking bottle.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a luminous copper-gold glow and a touch of mahogany at the rim.
Nose
Fresh and floral on the nose, with ripe orchard fruits and spiced tropical notes. Caramelised banana, a hint of cocoa powder, grape juice, freshly baked cakes, red fruit jam, and a delicate thread of rum-and-raisin fudge.
Palate
Aromatic and spicy, ripe orchard and tropical fruits unfold into Turkish delight. On the palate, rum-and-raisin ice cream, cinnamon toast and dark chocolate mingle with red berries and a touch of Danish pastry, finishing with lingering warmth and bakery sweetness.
Finish
Floral and aromatic on the finish, with rum and raisin sweetness, mocha fudge and cinnamon; spicy tropical fruit threads through gilded golden syrup, ending in Demerara sugar–topped crème brûlée notes.
