Colour
Rich amber-gold with a coppery glow and honeyed warmth.
Nose
Salty sea air and peppery bite mingle with Caol Ila’s oily peat and maritime depth. Juicy fruit and gentle spice from Linkwood meet Cragganmore’s herbal, floral malt, while Talisker’s coastal edge adds further depth. A subtle sweetness threads through, yielding a refined, balanced aroma born from four complementary malts.
Palate
A saline breeze and peppery bite frame a core of oily, coastal peat. Flashes of citrus and orchard fruit weave with spicy echoes from Linkwood, while Caol Ila lends smoky grip and Cragganmore adds depth and sweetness. Herbal and floral lift carries through a refined, balanced finish, showing the quartet’s harmony in a versatile, glass-coating mouthfeel.
Finish
Long, maritime finish with sea-salt and pepper from Talisker, a subtle peat echo from Caol Ila, and lingering fruity-spicy notes from Linkwood and Cragganmore. Herbal, floral lift threads through the palate, finishing with a refined mineral warmth that slowly fades.
