The Johnnie Walker Explorer's Club selection is normally only available at Duty Free however we've managed to secure a few bottles. The Spice Road is designed to show off the Clynelish elements of Johnnie Walker and so has a bit more salty spiciness to it. A cracking whisky.

Salty coastal air mingles with waxy citrus, vanilla and toasted spice. Clynelish's sea-salted mineral core carries ginger and white pepper, with a delicate brine that evokes a sun-warmed shoreline.
Palate
The palate reveals a salted maritime edge balanced by honeyed sweetness and sherried richness. Velvety and slightly waxy, with citrus zest, vanilla and soft oak underpinning bold pepper, ginger and gentle clove. The Clynelish-inspired mineral spine adds briny lift, ending in a warm, lingering spice and dried-fruit finish.
Finish
Long, maritime finish with salt-kissed coastal notes and waxy, Clynelish depth. Gentle spice lingers with citrus zest, slowly fading into warm oak.
