Jack Daniel's Scenes From Lynchburg #5 - New Statue Whiskey (1 Litre) (Boxed Edition)
Out of stock
The 5th bottle shifts back to the Distillery with an image of the new statue that currently stands by the cave spring. Weighing 600 pounds, this bronze statue was erected in the year 2000, and as previously mentioned, replaced the older monument to Jack Daniel that is found on the Scene #1 bottle.
Following the U.S. debut of this series in 2003, a new bottle in the series was released every year with the exception of 2010. In the U.S. these “Scenes” bottles are available in a 750ml size with 86 proof whiskey, and are not sold in a box or with a hang tag. This series can also be found in Europe (debuted in 1998) as 1 liter bottles filled with 86 proof whiskey and in Canada as 750ml bottles filled with 80 proof whiskey.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold glints and honeyed warmth.
Nose
Vanilla and caramel sweetness rise first, inviting and warm, with toasted oak and a bright kiss of orange zest. A subtle spice threads through, while a whisper of cocoa and the trademark charcoal-mellowed depth lend quiet, refined balance to the aroma.
Palate
Silky on the palate, caramel sweetness and vanilla cream rise over toasted oak, with bright orange zest and brown spice. The Tennessee charcoal mellowing yields a smooth, syrupy middle with custard-like richness, while cinnamon spice blooms into a warm, lingering finish of oak and a touch of rye pepper.
Finish
Warm and lingering, the finish folds vanilla and caramel with toasted oak, subtly underscored by a whisper of charcoal. A soft, spicy glow lingers, tapering into a clean, refined oak and citrus fade.
